STILLWATER — Austin Brooks passed for 387 yards, Connor Sikes had 213 yards receiving and Oklahoma Christian School defeated Davis 44-41 on Saturday night to win the Class 2A championship game.
It was the first championship for OCS, which had lost its first five appearances in the state title game.
Brooks threw three interceptions in his first seven passes before bouncing back for the big passing game, which included touchdown throws of 63 and 25 yards to Sikes.
Blake Barnes also had two touchdown catches for the Saints (14-1).
It was the first loss of the season for Davis (14-1), which was seeking its first state title since 1995.
Ringling beats Wynnewood for Class A title
STILLWATER — Ringling's Jackson Dillon ran for 122 yards and two touchdowns, Taner Richardson accounted for three more scores and Ringling beat Wynnewood 39-12 for the state championship in Class A.
Richardson threw touchdown passes to Slade Stewart and Landon Lyle in the first half of in Saturday's game as the Blue Devils (13-1) won their first state championship since 2003.
It's the fourth state championship overall for Ringling — which won its final 13 games after starting the season with a loss to Davis.
Stewart and Richardson also had interceptions while denying Wynnewood in its bid for the school's first championship in 20 years.
