AUSTIN, Texas — Sequoyah quarterback Brayden Scott tossed three touchdowns and orchestrated a nearly-flawless offense as Team USA blew out Austria, 70-7, in the semifinal round of the International Federation of American Football Under-19 World Championship in Austin, Texas on Wednesday night.
With two Scott TD passes in the first half, Team USA owned a 35-7 halftime edge and never looked back.
Scott was named the MVP of the game.
Team USA will now play for the event’s gold medal on Saturday night at 8 p.m. against Canada.
