TULSA — Warren Niles scored 25 points and Damen Bell-Holter had 24 points and 14 rebounds as Oral Roberts defeated Sam Houston State 74-64 Thursday night.
Korey Billbury added 13 points for the Golden Eagles (15-10, 10-3 Southland), who shot 52 percent from the field and hit 22 of 27 free throws.
James Thomas and Will Bond scored 11 points apiece for Sam Houston State (13-11, 6-6), and Terrance Motley had 10. Thomas and Motley also had eight rebounds each.
The Bearkats shot 38 percent from the field while making just 7 of 24 3-point attempts and 11 of 20 free throws.
The victory gave Oral Roberts a sweep of the season series, following a 65-61 overtime victory on Jan. 19 in Huntsville, Texas.
