Oklahoma receiver on preseason watch list

NORMAN — An Oklahoma receiver has been named to the preseason watch list for the Biletnikoff Award.

Officials said Tuesday it's the second consecutive season that Kenny Stills has appeared on the list for the award, given annually to the nation's top wide receiver.

Stills started in 11 games, earning All-Big 12 second team honors after finishing the year with 61 receptions for 849 yards and eight touchdowns.

He sits in 10th place on the Oklahoma career receiving yards chart with 1,635 career yards and 11th on the career receptions list with 122.

Ten semifinalists will be announced Nov. 12 and three finalists will be chosen Nov. 19.

The winner will be presented Dec. 6.

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)? Bear in mind some less popular channels could go by the wayside with no bundling support, and that while overall packages should theoretically decrease in cost, individual channels might cost more.

Strongly in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat in favor of a la carte.
