Keys’ senior Gregg James (far left) won the small-school state title in power lifting on March 12. James, the first All-State power lifter from Keys, won the gold in the 157-pound weight class.
James totaled 1,105 pounds in power lifting, which combines bench press, dead lifts, and squats with the highest of each lift added together.
James, a sophomore, bested other competitors (in photo), Colton Douillard, Cordell Breuklander and Cody Ryals, in the same weight class.
