Sooners get 2 in-state hoops commits

Oklahoma secured two commitments on Thursday when Edmond Memorial guard Jordan Woodard announced he would sign. Class of 2014 center Jacob Hammond also announced he will sign with the Sooners.

Woodard averaged 13 points and five assists for the Bulldogs last season.

His verbal marks the first major in-state commitment picked up for OU coach Lon Kruger. Woodard is one of the best players in the state.

Tulsa Washington guard Juwan Parker announced he will sign with Georgia earlier this week.

Woodard is the only player currently committed to the Sooners’ 2013 recruiting class.

Hammond’s commitment was first reported by OUhoops.com.

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)? Bear in mind some less popular channels could go by the wayside with no bundling support, and that while overall packages should theoretically decrease in cost, individual channels might cost more.

Strongly in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat in favor of a la carte.
