HULBERT — Tiffany Thompson scored 23 points as Hulbert continued its unbeaten streak on Tuesday night, beating Okay 48-26 at Rider Fieldhouse.
The Lady Riders improved to 6-0 while, yet again, putting forth another solid defensive effort. Hulbert is now only allowing 28 points a game to this point in the season.
Allison Arnall added five points, five rebounds, five steals and five assists for Hulbert. Megan Cox had eight points and Lindsey Krueger contributed five points and sever rebounds for the Lady Riders, who led 31-15 at halftime against Okay.
Bristen Graves led Okay with 12 points.
In the boys game, Chris Vance led Hulbert with 15 points as the Riders beat Okay 61-49. Three other Hulbert players, Ricco Wynn (13), Mason Fielding (12) and Craig Potts (10), scored in double figures.
Nigel King had a game-high 26 points for Okay.
Hulbert is now 4-2 and both Hulbert teams will be at Westville on Friday.
