Traffic stop nets arrest

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a local woman Wednesday after a traffic stop.

Chrisie D. Walters, 33, of Tahlequah, was arrested for outstanding warrants and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Kasey Russell, 25, of Tahlequah, was arrested Tuesday for domestic charges.

Police arrested Jacob H. Tagg, 18; Stewart Polk, 19; and Rocky B. Chippewa, 19, for theft after officers tried to conduct a traffic stop and were involved in a pursuit.

Leslie N. Hicks, 18, of Dewar, was arrested Tuesday for petit larceny after she allegedly attempted to leave Walmart with items concealed in a handbag.
