Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies spoke to a woman last week after an intruder trespassed on her property.
Sheryl Mast said she got home and her dog cages were opened, a trash can had been knocked over, and clothes had been torn from the clothes line.

Tena Stover told deputies Thursday a thief took a 1992 Ford F150. Stover said the truck is a white, four-wheel drive vehicle with an Oklahoma license plate number of 154-JGV.
Velda Hodnett told deputies three of her goats were stolen from a pasture last week. Hodnett said the goats weight 75-80 pounds each and have white bodies with brown heads.
David Coles spoke to deputies about an intruder breaking into a home through a bedroom window and taking prescriptions.
Deputies recently spoke with a 9-year-old boy after he tried to run away from home. A woman found the boy and called deputies after the boy told her he was running away but didn’t want help.
Deputies said the father picked up the boy, who claimed he ran away because his mother had griped about his room not being clean.
The boy assured deputies he would never try to run away again.
