TAHLEQUAH —
Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report of stolen metal gates this week.
James Dilday said someone drove onto his property and took the metal pipe gates. They were later sold to a local recycling center. Dilday was able to retrieve the gates, and authorities were given a suspect and vehicle description.
Calvin Lee Vann, 45, of Tahlequah, was arrested Wednesday for public drunk.
Patricia Galvan and Sherman Sterling both filed unrelated information reports Wednesday.
Aurora Mullins this week reported intimidation.
Jimmy Houston Outdoors reported a fuel drive-off last week.

A Bunch man was arrested recently after he was found face-down in a yard. Jeremy Poafpybitty, 27, allegedly smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet. County sheriff’s deputies arrested Poafpybitty on South 492 Road for public intoxication.
