Man jailed for DUI, traffic violations

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police made an arrest last week after a traffic stop near Fourth Street and Park Hill Road.

Hunter J. Smith, 27, of Muskogee, was booked for driving under the influence second or subsequent, running a red light, transporting an open container of beer, and driving while revoked.

Mattie Walker spoke to police last week after someone took a red bank bag that was accidentally left in a shopping cart.

Police spoke to Myron Smith, of Network Services Pro, last week after his work truck was burglarized and a Tanaka drill was taken, along with some copper.

Police took a report at Rent-A-Center Wednesday after the business was broken into.

Darryl Nelson spoke to police last week about a handicap decal being lost.

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)?
