Teen jailed for assault

TAHLEQUAH — A teenager was arrested by Tahlequah police on Thursday and is accused of later assaulting a police officer.

Desiree Gallup, 19 was arrested for public intoxication near a city park. While at the police department, Gallup allegedly assaulted Officer Pamela Bell, so police added charges of assault and battery on a police officer.

Walter W. Dill, 25, was arrested after an off-duty officer was notified of a shoplifter at Hit N Run Thursday afternoon.

Anthony M. Sharp, 19, of Welling, was arrested Thursday for public intoxication and possession of controlled dangerous substance for allegedly smoking incense near Pamela Street.

Tommy Pack spoke to police Wednesday about unauthorized charges on his personal account and employer’s account.

December Rodeheauer reported a car burglary Thursday.
