TAHLEQUAH —
A county man told sheriff’s deputies this week that an intruder broke into his shop.
Don Meigs said a thief took a 16-inch and 18-inch chainsaw, and a 12-inch miter saw.
In other matters, Jessie Cook spoke to deputies recently after she looked outside and saw two men loading an air conditioner, batteries and a mini-bike into their vehicle. They then left with the items.
Janis Trevelyan filed a report Tuesday about a property dispute that turned into an altercation. Trevelyan said she saw a man began to erect a fence where the fence isn’t allowed, so she approached him and told him he couldn’t do so. She then took a post down, and the man began to assault her. Eventually, another man was involved in the altercation before deputies arrived.
