Tahlequah — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report last week after a man said he was attacked by a girl with a rock.

Jon Smith said he went outside to run some dogs off of his property because the dogs had been killing livestock. He said three people who were trespassing on his land began to throw rocks at him, and one girl, about 13 years old, ran at him and hit him in the face with a rock.

In other matters, deputies spoke to Leroy Young Thursday about the theft of a saw from a vehicle.

Robin Phelps filed an information report Thursday.

Joshua Moore filed a theft report last week.

Robert Ryals told deputies someone took two air conditioners and a door from a residence last week.

Deputies filed a death-investigation report Thursday on Patsy Whitekiller, 58, of Hulbert. Her cause of death is believed to be natural causes, the report indicates.
