Woman arrested for burglary, assault

Two area women were booked into jail Monday after their arrest for allegedly shoplifting at Walmart.

Kandice Branham, 19, and Brittany Drywater, 18, were arrested.

Edward Kiggins spoke to officers last Wednesday concerning an alleged assault.

Officers are investigating an alleged rape reported Monday of a 36-year-old woman.
