Harassing calls reported



Two men have been arrested by Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies after domestic disputes.

Jackyie Burson, 22, was booked into jail Saturday after he allegedly grabbed Billie Burson by the neck and threatened to kill her. The assault occurred in a vehicle.

William McCoy, 25, was arrested Monday after an alleged assault on Regina McCoy. William reportedly pulled Regina’s hair and threw her on the ground.

Nekesha Dirteater said Saturday she’s received threats.

Linda Thomas filed a harassment report Sunday.

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an alleged arson fire that occurred last Wednesday at a residence owned by Gary Fisher.

Jason Legg said Sunday he was physically assaulted.

Alfred Capps said Wednesday intruders entered his property and took a toolbox, tools, saws, kitchen appliances and other items.
