Police Beat

Tahlequah police arrested a woman Wednesday on parental kidnapping charges.

Rebecca Harris, 37, was located at the Help-In-Crisis location on North Jones. Harris was in the National Crime Information Center as a wanted person on the kidnapping count in Cassville, Mo. The child, a 3-year-old boy, was returned to his father.

A report was also filed Wednesday concerning a man and woman who were staying at Grand China Inn without paying.

Jacob Westmoreland, of Dano’s, said a 30-pack of Bud Light beer was taken Wednesday. The suspects left in a red four-door car.

Joshua P. Crittenden, 30, was arrested Wednesday by officers after they found marijuana and a pipe used to smoke marijuana.

Joshua Wilson, 23, was arrested Wednesday for DUI after hitting a tree in the Oakwood area.

Desiree Miley, Comfort Inn and Suites, filed a credit card fraud report last Saturday.

Jessica Brackett told officers she was being harassed by an ex-boyfriend.

Marilyn Whitson reported 46 muscle relaxer pills stolen.

Seth White, 19, was arrested early Thursday for DUI.

Kevin Tunnell said Tuesday his vehicle was damaged.
