Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies are awaiting a medical examiner’s findings on the death of an area man.
A death report was filed Thursday concerning Watie Thirsty, 27.
He was found by his stepfather, who called the sheriff’s office.
A smoking device was found near the body, and reports state a possible methamphetamine lab was also found at the residence. Personnel from the District 27 Drug Task Force were called to the scene.
In an unrelated matter, a representative of the Armstrong Bank in Wagoner filed a report Monday about an air conditioner being gone from a house. The home was also vandalized.
Sarah Kelly filed a threats report Monday.
