Tahlequah police arrested a local man Friday on a pair of charges. John Spencer, 42, was booked into jail for assault and battery and public drunk after an alleged incident on North Muskogee. Antwon McMillon said Sunday a thief took his green Nissan Maxima at Hunter Glen Apartment. Dennis Linvick told officers Thursday his vehicle was hit by a piece of rebar on Lee Street. Joshua Clinton said his home was burglarized Tuesday. Brittany Girdner said Friday a bag containing her boots, birth certificate and Social Security card was taken. Danny Reese said Thursday two teenage boys entered the Hit-n-Run store and took several packs of matches. Martin Bassett said a 5-foot by 8-foot trailer was stolen from his house Thursday. Kenneth Sowers, 30 was arrested Saturday for DUI drugs, possession of controlled drug and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Russell Wind, 26, was stopped for driving left of center and arrested for DUI. Sandra Whitecrow, 46, was arrested Saturday for DUI and driving under suspension.
