Abuse report bogus

A juvenile suspect was given a citation Wednesday for destruction of property in municipal court after allegedly stabbing a vehicle tire.

Ryan Stephens filed the report concerning his tire.

Officers determined a report of alleged child abuse Thursday to be a false report. The child was checked by officers, who found no injuries on the child and the child denied being hit.

Whitney Hooper said Thursday someone took her trash can.
