Local woman jailed on fraud charge

Tahlequah police jailed a woman Monday on municipal and district court charges after answering a call she was attempting to pass a forged prescription.

Aubree Hamby, 23, was arrested by Sgt. Randy Tanner after the forged prescription was confirmed through Dr. Deloache’s office, reports state.

She was booked on a city court warrant, and new district court charges of knowingly concealing stolen property and three counts of obtaining or attempting to obtain a controlled drug by fraud.

In an unrelated matter, a clerk at Clear Creek 66 filed a report Monday alleging they have received two fake $100 bills.

Brett Baker, of Save-A-Lot, reported Monday that a shoplifter came in the store and took $50 worth of meat.

Alice Eastom said last Friday that some of her medication is missing.

Kenneth Skinner said Tuesday someone came to his apartment and punched him in the head.

Lanina Riggs said Tuesday her husband was assaulted.

Tina Gordon filed a report Tuesday stating someone has been calling her names and trying to get her to pay a electric bill she doesn’t owe.

Comet Cleaners employees called police Wednesday morning to report a theft from the business. Money was stolen and papers were on the floor. Drawers were open.

Lisa Straubing’s rear driver’s side tire was cut she told officers Tuesday.

Lisa Farrow said Monday her truck was vandalized.

Stacy Witt said Tuesday someone tried to break into her home.

James Chumley filed a report Tuesday alleging someone has been opening his mail.
