Stolen Kia recovered

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department recovered a 2007 Kia Rio belonging to John Buster that was reported stolen. The vehicle was found in the Dry Creek area by the bridge, with the radio on, the ignition key broken off and out of gas.

Gerald W. Stanley reported a theft from his boat on Monday. Items taken included a fish locator, a motor guide trolling motor, Optima battery, six fishing poles, one tackle box and four lifejackets.

Robert Welch reported a digital cameral, a yellow Case two-bladed pocket knife and a pair of Oakley sunglasses were stolen from his company vehicle Monday.

Josette Olivia Koger reported a simple assault to police on Monday.

Dusty Kayl Skaggs and Dennis Lee Bradley were arrested for public intoxication at Speedy’s gas station Monday.

Dakota Justin Johnson reported his cell phone stolen Monday.

Earlleen Maxine Sims to police a protective order violation on Monday.

Claudia L. Dean reported harassment Tuesday.
