Police report for Sunday, Nov. 2

TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS — Tahlequah police took a report Thursday from a local woman concerning harassing phone calls. Brenda Bailey alleges four people have been making the calls.

Ryan Berry called officers Thursday to report two games being stolen from Hollywood Video.

Michael Higgins said Thursday someone entered his vehicle and took an envelope and garage door opener.

Some 36-inch mylar balloons were reported stolen from the Just For Me store, 217 N. Muskogee. The balloons were inflated and floating above the business.

Jessica Williams called police Thursday to report her cell phone, driver’s license and debit card missing. Jennita Hannah said Friday morning someone took 15 compact discs from her vehicle.

Hunting gear, a compound bow and climbing tree stand were reported missing Friday morning from Adam Ranallo’s truck. Julie Gahn filed a report Thursday about someone taking the contents of her glovebox and the center console of her truck.

James Bookout, 20, was arrested Thursday by Officer Robert Jones for embezzlement at Lowe’s. Store personnel discovered the money theft with till audits and called police.

Jeffery Rutherford, 40, was arrested Friday by Officer Sam Jackson for DUI and driving under suspension. Jackson observed the vehicle cross the center line and drive down the middle of the road.
