Landlord tells police of missing man

TAHLEQUAH — A local man has been reported missing by his landlord, who told police he is concerned.

The landlord told police Gene T. Willhite Jr., 61, hasn’t been seen since early December. The landlord said some of Willhite’s utilities on his West Fox Street home were shut off due to lack of payment, and Willhite has also not paid his rent for two months. The landlord told police he doesn’t believe Willhite has relatives, and said it isn’t normal for him to disappear.

Willhite is described as a white man standing about 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighing 230 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call the Tahlequah Police Department at (918) 456-8801.

In other matters, Cody Henson reported a stolen vehicle last week. The vehicle is a black 1996 Ford single-cab F-150.
