TAHLEQUAH —
Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman Thursday after a disturbance at Garden Walk Apartments.
Maria Chavez, 25, of Tahlequah, was allegedly outside an apartment screaming profanities. Deputies arrested her for public intoxication.
In other matters, deputies took a report last week from a woman who said she was threatened by several people on Twitter.
Sandy Adair spoke to deputies last week about a window being shattered in of her vehicle while she was at a friend’s house. The suspect then left the area when police were called.
