Woman jailed for DUI

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a woman Monday after finding her vehicle in a ditch.

Ursula N. Cain, 27, of Tahlequah, was booked for driving under the influence. Police responded after a caller said the woman’s vehicle was in a ditch on Cedar Avenue, near Cherokee Elementary School. Juvenile passengers in the vehicle were released to a family member.

Casey C. Carter, 30, of Bunch, was arrested Monday for DUI of alcohol after a traffic collision.

Nathan Dewberry, 22, of El Reno, was arrested Tuesday morning for DUI of alcohol.

Heather M. Wilson, 24, of Tahlequah, was arrested Monday for shoplifting from Reasor’s. Wilson allegedly left concealed vitamins, bandages and light bulbs in her purse, and she left the store without paying for the items.

Tahlequah police spoke to a bartender at a local club early Tuesday morning after officers received reports that alcohol was being served to people under age 21.

Harlene Willis spoke to police Monday about a threatening note left on her vehicle last Saturday.

Stephanie Girdner reported a protective-order violation Monday.

Danny Hair told police Monday someone took his green mountain bike from his home.

Police responded to a possible drug overdose last week at Walmart.
