TAHLEQUAH —
Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Wednesday after he allegedly stumbled around the courthouse while intoxicated.
Kevin Pritchett, 37, was arrested for public intoxication.
According to a report of his arrest, a woman pointed deputies to Pritchett after he was seen carrying a small child in his arms and stumbling into other people at the courthouse.
Deputies said Pritchett smelled of alcohol and had red, blood-shot eyes. Pritchett reportedly told the deputies he’d just awoken and was still tired.
