Man arrested after domestic abuse call

TAHLEQUAH — A Tahlequah man was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday following a response to a domestic dispute call at South Breeze Trailer Park.

David Vanburen Finch, 41, was taken into custody after trying to flee upon the arrival of county and state law officials. While en route to the scene, deputies were informed Finch had outstanding warrants for assault and battery and larceny.

Aloma Bowlin filed a fraud report Oct. 27 to inform deputies that a known suspect has been using her Capital One credit card account without authorization. The report indicated there were seven charges totaling $1,618.04.

Robyn Johnston spoke to law officials Oct. 31 about a possible vandalism to her  Tahlequah residence. Johnston told deputies  she returned home after work to find water leaking on to the  porch from under the front door. She entered the structure, which was still locked and showed no signs of forced entry, to find standing water in the front room and the bathroom toilet-feed line spilling water on the floor as if it had been loosened by someone. Johnson indicated a roommate reported the conditions of the home as “fine” when leaving earlier that afternoon.

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)? Bear in mind some less popular channels could go by the wayside with no bundling support, and that while overall packages should theoretically decrease in cost, individual channels might cost more.

Strongly in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat opposed to a la carte.
