Man nabbed for drugs

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man Wednesday after they were asked to check on his well-being.

Henry Dye, 37, of Tahlequah, was booked for public intoxication of drugs near Ash and Shawnee streets.

Joshua R. Vance, 21, of Tahlequah, was arrested Wednesday evening for taking a pair of shoes from Walmart.

Penny Scott spoke to police Wednesday about two vehicle burglaries on Cherrie. The suspect took change and perfume from the vehicles. Both cars were ransacked and damage was done to the driver’s side door and center console on one vehicle.

Richard Hanson on Wednesday reported an intruder had broken into four vehicles and gone through them, but nothing was taken.

Police spoke to Breanna Hamby Wednesday after Hamby said she has received harassing phone calls and text messages from two different people.
