TAHLEQUAH —
Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a harassment report Saturday.
Anna Davis said a man pulled up behind her on a county road and almost side-swiped her vehicle, then pulled in front of her and quickly used his brakes. The man jumped out of his truck and began to run toward Davis while screaming.
In other matters, deputies arrested Jeffrey Harris Porter Jr., 21, on Sunday for public intoxication and open container.
Faye Lynn McCarter-Burris, 31, was arrested Friday for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Charles Hilton, 68, was arrested last week for obstructing. Deputies said they have responded several times to disagreements between Hilton and Jamie Johnson, who has filed a number of reports on her dealings with Hilton.
