Shoplifter arrested

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a woman last week after she was caught allegedly shoplifting at Walmart.

Shellie D. Watson, 41, of Tahlequah, was booked after she tried taking more than $200 worth of merchandise from the retailer.

In other matters, officers spoke to Vincent Blair Friday after someone entered his home and took several items.

Employees at Walmart spoke to police last week after receiving two fake $100 bills.

Where do you think bicycle trails are most needed in Cherokee County?

In the downtown corridor.
Not downtown, because it would be too congested, but on peripheral streets, like Bluff, Downing and College, and Muskogee but not downtown.
On the rural highways mainly in recreational areas, like Highways 10 and 82.
Only in special areas, like parks.
I do not think Cherokee County needs any (or more) bike trails.
