Suspicious activity spurs arrest

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police officers arrested a man Wednesday evening after suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of West Delaware.

Police were unable to locate Justin E. White, 35, of Tahlequah, when the first call was reported, but after receiving another call, officers found him hiding under a resident’s porch on West Delaware. He was booked for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, public intoxication, obstruction, and resisting arrest.

Shawn W. Harmanson, 27, of Tahlequah, was arrested Wednesday for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Marla Jones, 45, of Tahlequah, was arrested Tuesday for stealing diet pills from Walmart.

Officers spoke to Krystal Terrell on Tuesday after she said her iPad was stolen and later located at a local game-exchange business.

Robbie Hayes spoke to police this week after losing money orders while at Walmart.

Wayne Coldwell said Wednesday that his apartment was burglarized.

Linda Hodges said a vandal broke out a side window on her house this week.

Sherniec Scraper filed an assault report Wednesday.

Terri Moore spoke to police Thursday morning and said tires on her vehicle were cut.
