Inappropriate texts sent

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report of inappropriate text messages Monday.

A woman told deputies her daughter has been receiving the text messages, and the person sending them won’t stop, even though the person has been asked to.

In other matters, Reva Crawford reported theft of property Monday, including an antique wood dressing table with side mirrors, a maple dining room set and six chairs, tools, glassware, and other items.

Nakyiah Sanders reported being assaulted Monday.

D&D Hardscapes reported a rock being thrown through a window before the business was burglarized.

Raymond Brown filed an information report Monday.

James Bell on Monday reported the theft of a 1995 red GMC Sonoma with a tag number of 829-44C.

Arthur Meigs reported a break-in last week.
