TAHLEQUAH —
Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a pair of teenagers Saturday in connection with a burglary of the Big Red Restaurant in Keys.
The teens, both 17-year-old boys, were booked on second-degree burglary counts. One was also booked for knowingly concealing stolen property and the other was booked for public drunk, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.
A 20-year-old woman reported a sexual assault Sunday.
Alexis McDede reported a physical assault Monday.
A 17-year-old boy said Sunday someone attempted to run him over in a vehicle. The suspect also damaged an air conditioning unit.
Robert Merritt said Monday someone took his white 1992 Ford Ranger pickup with a tag number of 669 HBJ.
John Hunter said Tuesday someone took his medication.
