TAHLEQUAH —
A report was filed Tuesday on a fraudulent transaction involving hay.
Jose Olvera told Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies that a man offered to sell him 20 bales of hay for $1,000.
Olvera said he wrote the man a check last September, and it was quickly cashed, but the hay has never been delivered.

Valerie Wofford filed an information report Monday.
Deputies took a report about possible child abuse Monday.
