Woman taken into custody

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police took a woman into custody Friday after she allegedly stole items from Walmart.

Tassie A. Sellers, 20, of Stilwell, attempted to leave the retailer without paying for soda, socks, cooked chicken, and a sippy cup.

Marquetta Guerra spoke to police last week after a vehicle backed into her while at a convenience store parking lot.

Police filed a death report Saturday after Lillie Jumper, 70, was found inside a Tahlequah home.

Scott Talbert spoke to police Saturday after someone shot his dog in the face with a small-caliber bullet.

Officers filed a report Monday after a bench in downtown Tahlequah was damaged by a vehicle.
