Man arrested after leaving scene of crash

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man last week after he ran from the scene of a three-car crash on Muskogee Avenue.

Trent M. Mauldin, 27 was arrested for driving under the influence, driving while revoked, and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.

Police arrested Jeron Miller, 31, of Tahlequah, on drug-related charges and others last week following a traffic stop. Police also arrested a passenger, 26-year-old Daryl L. Williams, of Oklahoma City.

Police spoke to Lynn Womack Sunday about the theft of a tag decal. Later in the day, officers responded to a suspicious vehicle near Fox Trailer Park and stopped Cody Cooper, 19, of Tahlequah, in a truck. Police said Cooper was using the decal that had been stolen from Womack, so they arrested Cooper for knowingly concealing stolen property.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested Thursday for public intoxication, obstruction, and transferring bodily fluids onto a police officer after officers responded to an intoxicated pedestrian near West Choctaw.

Mail-Mart employees spoke to police last week about fraud.

Natalie Matson told police Thursday she returned to her motel room and learned some items were missing.

Joyce Willis told police last week that someone applied for a Sam’s Club card in her name.

Police took a report Wednesday after a walkie-talkie was found near Ross and the bypass.
