TAHLEQUAH —
Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Hulbert man Tuesday after he broke a window out of a vehicle.
Steven Tyler Forrest, 22, allegedly shattered a vehicle window. When deputies arrived, they learned he had an outstanding warrant and arrested him.
In other matters, Rael Rivas said an intruder broke in to a residence and stole several items, including Nintendos, clothing, a Dell laptop computer, a pink Nike backpack, money, and tools.
Evelyn Smelcer reported someone using her name and Social Security number to have utilities connected in Kansas.
Deputies took a report this week about a man who is reportedly giving a cancer patient marijuana and is encouraging the woman to take too many medications. Family members of the woman also believe the man has used some of the woman’s medication for himself.
