Police Beat - Man arrested in shoplifting case

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man Tuesday for shoplifting at Walmart.

Cory A. Gwin, 22, of Tahlequah, was arrested after allegedly leaving the store without paying for merchandise.

Mark A. Davidson, 22, of Tahlequah, was arrested this week for domestic violence.

Ray Patrick reported an air conditioner, refrigerator, and tools stolen from his rental property this week.

Kenneth Elliott reported the theft of three car-wash grates from the Wash Barn Car Wash Tuesday.

Robert Mickel told police Tuesday he has received harassing phone calls from an unknown person.

A clerk at EZ Mart south told police recently that a man took a bag of ice and left without trying to pay for it.

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)?
