NORMAN —
Oklahoma returns to the practice field this afternoon to prepare for Iowa State.
What frame of mind the Sooners are in will define the rest of the season. The loss to Notre Dame knocked them out of the national title race. They remain behind Kansas State in the Big 12 Conference race.
"It's not easy to take a loss. It's not what we like to do around here and no one is OK with it. We're not going to sit here and say that it's fine and that everyone is OK with it. It hits you hard in the soul, especially a game like that that was so big and the atmosphere was as alive as it was," defensive tackle Jamarkus McFarland said on Monday.
"You have to be mature enough to not dwell on it. Coach is going to talk about that today and then we'll move forward. We have another team we have to play. We have the rest of the season to play."
