Shinn at 3 p.m.: Jones now OU's winningest QB

NORMAN — Landry Jones became Oklahoma's winningest quarterback after the victory over Texas. Last Saturday's win against Kansas lifted his record to 34-9 as the Sooners' starting quarterback. Winning a game like Saturday's against Notre Dame would lift his legacy even higher.

"I think for sure these non-conference, big games like this, playing big teams, definitely you’ll be remembered by some of these games," he said. "Typically around this place, you’re remembered for championships, Texas games and then those big non-conference games like a Florida State or a Notre Dame.”

Jones led OU to the 2010 Big 12 championship and is 3-0 against Texas as starting quarterback. The Sooners have also played "big" out of conference every year during Jones' career. He lost at Miami in 2009, but he quarterbacked OU to wins over Florida State in 2010 and 2011. Jones is also 3-0 in Bowl games with wins over Stanford, Connecticut and Iowa.

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)? Bear in mind some less popular channels could go by the wayside with no bundling support, and that while overall packages should theoretically decrease in cost, individual channels might cost more.

Strongly in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat opposed to a la carte.
Strongly opposed to a la carte.
