Former OSU player files notice to appeal sentence

STILLWATER — Attorneys for a former Oklahoma State basketball player convicted of sexually assaulting two women at a party have filed notice that they'll appeal his conviction and sentence.

Attorneys for Darrell Williams filed the notice Wednesday, less than a week after a judge handed down a suspended sentence and ordered that Williams register as a sex offender. Williams was convicted in July of rape by instrumentation and sexual battery.

Prosecutors say he groped two women and reached inside their pants at a party in 2010.

Williams has maintained his innocence since his arrest and said he was the victim of misidentification. At last week's hearing, Williams sought a new trial but the judge denied the request before handing down the sentence.

Not downtown, because it would be too congested, but on peripheral streets, like Bluff, Downing and College, and Muskogee but not downtown.
On the rural highways mainly in recreational areas, like Highways 10 and 82.
Only in special areas, like parks.
I do not think Cherokee County needs any (or more) bike trails.
