The Northeastern State women’s basketball team stays on the road for a 6 p.m. matchup Friday at University of Arkansas-Fort Smith inside Stubblefield Center.
The RiverHawks (4-4, 1-1 MIAA) are coming off their first loss in conference play, while the Lady Lions (3-4, 0-1 Heartland) recently snapped a three-game losing skid.
The two teams have only met once before, and that clash came last year when NSU picked up a 68-51 triumph. Taylor Lewis made eight 3-pointers en route to a career-high 30 points in just 29 minutes for the RiverHawks.
