Thursday, Dec. 27: Good morning!

TAHLEQUAH — Here's a quick look at some of the features we're planning for Friday's Daily Press:

 • Rob Anderson is putting together a roundup of local parties and concerts for New Year's Eve.

• Rob will also take a look at different Facebook pages with a Tahlequah emphasis, and he'll tell you about those pages and why they were created.

• Renee Fite has been out checking on the return of Christmas gifts to area retailers. Are returns up or down this year, and what does it mean? She'll find out.

Plus, we'll have a usual array of local news from groups and organizations; crime and court happenings; and our sports section with local, state and national goings-on.

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)? Bear in mind some less popular channels could go by the wayside with no bundling support, and that while overall packages should theoretically decrease in cost, individual channels might cost more.

Strongly in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat opposed to a la carte.
Strongly opposed to a la carte.
