In the Wednesday, Sept. 1 Tahlequah Daily Press, a press release on page 2A from the local Democratic Women’s Club stated Susan Paddock was the state superintendent of schools and would be speaking at the Cherokee County Democratic Women’s Club Friday, Sept. 3.
Paddock is not the state superintendent, but a Democratic candidate running against Janet Barresi, a Republican Barresi who will speak Monday, Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. at the Tahlequah High School Library.
