TAHLEQUAH —
Cherokee County sheriff’s investigators continued Tuesday to recover property taken from a Flint Ridge area business.
Sheriff’s Investigator James Brown said he and representatives of Ziese Products returned to a recycle center in West Siloam Springs. Brown said more missing metal and two containers of stainless steel shavings were located. He said the recovered property weighs approximately 17,000 pounds.
Investigators arrested Jerry Michael Miller Jr., 32, on four counts of second-degree burglary Monday in connection with Ziese burglaries. Brown said additional charges are still possible as he and other investigators working the case compile reports for submission to the district attorney’s office.
The case has moved into Adair and Delaware counties as well. Brown said the investigation remains ongoing.
