Sheriff's Beat - Deputies investigate vandalism report

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an alleged vandalism reported this week.

George Whittmore Jr. told deputies Wednesday morning that he awoke to find his home had blue spray paint on it in several areas.

Tom Bradford said Saturday a thief took binoculars, a lighter with a knife, change and other items from his vehicle.
