TAHLEQUAH —
A Tahlequah man accused of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison.
Thirty-six-year-old Darrick Dion Antwine, who is also known as Derrick Antwine, Darik Antwine, and “D,” was sentenced to 240 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
Charges were a result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Violent Crime Task Force. Antwine was indicted in April 2012 and pleaded guilty in August 2012.
He was accused of conspiring with others to distribute and possess 280 grams or more of cocaine between June 2010 and April 2012.
Antwine will remain in custody of the U.S. Marshal Service pending transportation to the federal prison where he will serve his sentence with no opportunity for parole.
