When you’re buying a new car, when should you haggle, and how should you do it? Experts weigh in.

TAHLEQUAH — Buying a car at an unbeatable price means becoming a savvy negotiator who’s willing to be flexible, but determined not to blink before shaking the salesman’s hand to seal the deal.

The most common car-buying tip found in online articles is to perform thorough research on the vehicle desired. Being equipped with the right information and knowing what questions to ask can help expedite the transaction.

But potential buyers should keep in mind that the car dealer has access to the same knowledge...

Where do you think bicycle trails are most needed in Cherokee County?

In the downtown corridor.
Not downtown, because it would be too congested, but on peripheral streets, like Bluff, Downing and College, and Muskogee but not downtown.
On the rural highways mainly in recreational areas, like Highways 10 and 82.
Only in special areas, like parks.
I do not think Cherokee County needs any (or more) bike trails.
