A night of partying in Fort Smith, Ark., wound down with the filing of stalking charges in Cherokee County Tuesday.
Jason Decker, Park Hill, said in a report to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office that he and his girlfriend decided to go to Fort Smith, to “party” with another female friend.
According to Decker’s statement, the three became intoxicated and began engaging in sexual intercourse.
Shortly after the tryst, Decker and his girlfriend drove home after their friend fell asleep.
But Decker claims that when the female friend awoke, she began sending a series of more than 200 text messages that were “completely out of line,” asking Decker to return to Arkansas for more sex, and expressing anger that she had been left alone.
After getting no response from Decker, the woman allegedly filed rape charges against him in Fort Smith, according to the sheriff’s report.
Decker stated in the report that the woman is still sending him text messages, so he decided to file a stalking report against her.
